Getting an “unsafe” warning on install?

This isn't a virus or a broken download. Wuwei hasn't bought a code-signing certificate yet, so Windows and macOS show a security prompt for unsigned new apps by default. The two steps below get you installed — 10 seconds total.

Windows

Double-click the installer. If a blue “Windows protected your PC” window appears, click More info at the bottom-left.
A Run anyway button appears — click it to continue installing.

If your browser warns “might be dangerous / can't download safely”, click the ··· next to the download → Keep.

macOS

First pick the right build for your chip: Apple silicon (M1/M2/M3…) → arm64, Intel → x64. Not sure? Apple menu → About This Mac, check the “Chip” row.
Open the dmg and drag Wuwei into Applications. On first launch, right-click (or Control-click) the app icon → Open, then click Open again in the dialog. After that it opens with a normal double-click.

If it says “is damaged and can't be opened” (macOS blocking an unsigned app — not actually damaged): open Terminal, paste this line and press Enter, then type your login password (it won't show as you type — that's normal):

sudo xattr -cr /Applications/Wuwei.app
